The modern roundabout continues to be a popular intersection application in the U.S.A. This course is a continuation of the geometric design process presented in Modern Roundabout Design Part 1. It is important to understand these design principles and any potential trade-offs that may be encountered. By combining this course material with work experience and engineering judgment, the participant may produce plans beneficial to the traveling public.

Upon course completion, the participant should be familiar with the general design guidelines for various types of modern roundabouts (Modern Roundabout Design 1 addressed single-lane roundabouts). This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is created to enhance the understanding of the course materials.

At the conclusion of this course, the learner will:
