The course presents the steel bridge shop drawing examples for determination of the steel bridge’s structural behavior and structural analysis as well as details of the various bearing types. The text provides bearing style selection guidelines and the various bearing design requirements. The material is based on Steel Bridge Design Handbook: Bearing Design Publication No FHWA-IF-12-052 - Vol. 15.
