The purpose of this course is to explain the basics of designing an adequate storm drainage system, which can be applied to parking lots, parking decks, paved streets, and highways. The study material presents various methods for evaluating rainfall and runoff magnitude, pavement drainage, gutter flow, and drainage inlets, as well as procedures for designing storm drainage system of a parking lot. The course material is based on Stormwater Drainage Design for Parking Lots.
