The study material presents the effects of the geotechnical factors and inputs on pavement design and performance. The study material explains baseline designs for flexible and rigid pavements depends on various geotechnical inputs. The material explains the evaluation procedure of several test pavement sections in order to evaluate the performance. This course material is based on Geotechnical Aspects of Pavements Publication No. FHWA NHI-05-037 Section 6.
