The course material explains the effect of predrilling and jetting on nominal resistance. The course material presents site characterization and comprehensive design examples. Batter pile design and construction methods are also covered in the course material. The course material is based on Design and Construction of Driven Pile Foundations, FHWA Publication No. FHWA-NHI-16-009, Chapters 7.5 and 7.6.
